Nick Gillissie is an industrial designer with 20 years of experience, 14 of which are in the contract furniture industry. He was the senior systems designer at Teknion before starting his own consultancy 7 years ago. While at Teknion he: spent 5 years as part of the team designing and adding to the District product line, led the design team on Interpret benching and helped set the direction for the upStage furniture system shortly before his departure. Since starting his consulting career he has worked with a variety of contract and residential furniture manufacturers.

Paul Krüger recently left his role as design director of architectural interiors after 19 years at Teknion. He has experience designing for a wide variety of contract furniture contexts, such as height adjustable tables, benching systems and soft seating. His primary expertise is in architectural products, an area in which he is one of the contract furniture industry’s foremost design leaders. His considerable portfolio from his time at Teknion includes: senior designer on the Altos and Optos products, design team lead on Teknion’s successful bid to provide the demountable wall solution for Apple’s new corporate headquarters and design director Teknion‘s most recent product launches including Altos Landscape, Tek Pier, Focus Wall and Tek Vue wall systems.

Rounding out the team are Aaron Bavle, a talented bachelor of industrial design graduate and Will McDonald who brings his experience in graphics, his aptitude for mechanical design and an aesthetically sensitive approach to problem solving to meet our clients’ product development needs.
